Pablo FParticipantHi,
I´ve tried to change the portfolio items featured image by a gallery at the top of the post, changing Image-Thumbnail to Gallery-Media and then selecting some images from the Media, but it doesn´t work as expected: the gallery shows unselected images, these selected images are shown one by one in the portfolio item body,…
The question is so simple, how could I make the gallery work there?
Thank you.

RupokMemberHi There,
Thanks for writing in! To do that, please go to your Portfolio Item and edit it. Under Portfolio Item Settings > Media Type: Select Gallery. Then upload the images on this portfolio item. Click Add Media button and then upload each images you want to include on this gallery.
Hope this helps.

Pablo FParticipantHi Rupok,
As I said before, that regular method does´t work for me.
Anyway, I have “broken” one of the portfolio items doing the steps you have suggested just in case you can´t believe it: both selected images are shown in the portfolio item body, within the gallery you´ll see images from the media gallery that they aren´t selected,… pretty chaotic.
In the next private post you´ll have the link. Please help me ASAP as this site is already opened.
Thank you.

RupokMemberHi there,
I think it’s working fine. You have images within the content so it looks chaotic. If you use gallery then remove the images from content.
Thanks!

Pablo FParticipantIt doesn´t work either.
1. I have made all the steps to create the Gallery: a) turned on Gallery/Media and then selected both images I want to show at the top of the portfolio item. They are already attached to that portfolio item as you can see in the capture.
2. The Gallery doesn´t work. If you press the arrows just the image 52652b.jpg is shown.
3. I have removed the images from the portfolio item body and they are not there, but the gallery doesn´t work with or without the images in the body.
I have sent the login credentials in my previous private posts if you want to check it by yourself. Believe me, it doesn´t work.
Anyone could help please?

RupokMemberHi Pablo,
Sorry to hear that you are still having this issue. I guess it’s causing by some JS error on you site – http://prntscr.com/e5xhnh
If you have Map, make sure to add the API Key and correct Latitude and Longitude values properly to get rid of the error. I guess the JS error preventing the slideshow of the gallery.
Thanks!

Pablo FParticipantHi again Rupok,
As you could see, I have no map on this site, at least configured with an API Key, except a Google Maps shared URL iframe with no API Key inserted at the “contacto” page. I have deleted this iframe, tried the gallery again and it doesn´t work either. What else could it be?
PS: Regarding the maps API Key it´s a X Theme critical bug never solved. It seems all the sites created with X Theme have this issue. You can search for this bug in this forum and you´ll find dozens of post asking for a solution since 3 years ago. Talking about this, if you know how to solve this issue too I´ll appreciate your help.
Regards.

LelyModeratorHi Pablo,
Upon checking, next and previous button is not working because there is only 1 slide.
Just to test, I did add a sample Portfolio X Test. Please note that for the gallery to work, the image should be uploaded on the portfolio, we cannot use existing image on the media gallery. See this:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbnjIs6flc.Regarding google Maps, this issue is cause by Ubermenu plugin. Please disable it. Go to General Settings Tab > Assets >Load Google Maps API: Disable this option. See attached screenshot.
Hope this helps.
