Hello, I purchased X Theme and am having difficulty installing the Demo Integrity1. Most specifically, I cannot get the text you have shown overlapping the video in the demo with the big X in the middle. I have the revslider plugin installed but do I need a revolution slider zip file that imports the Slider content? That’s what my Web guy is telling me. my domain is http://www.xcelsporttesting.com.. I would like the “It’s your adventure X We’ll be your guide” to show up on my page as well.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! To achieve the similar effect, enable the Slider Above Masthead by editing the page and under Slider Settings: Above Masthead activate your slider. To display a background video just like in Integrity demo you can Input the URL to your .mp4 video file to display an optional background video in Optional Background Video field.

To start things up you can import the demo revolutions sliders from here http://revolution.themepunch.com/example-downloads/

Thanks so much, I’ll pass this along to him. Here is the latest email he sent me, hoping you know what he’s asking for…

“Revolution Slider is indeed part of the theme and added. Revolution Slider is also a “menu option” within your WordPress dashboard. This is how I was able to create a slide, add the video you provided.

However, the theme author didn’t provide the actual slide content shown on the demo. Without the content we are unable to make it look like the demo, which is also specified in the service that we can make it look like the demo as long as the theme author/developer provides the necessary content.

Please note this from the author, “Make sure to read through the Slider Revolution documentation to get a better understanding for how the plugin works.”

They are letting you know that you can learn how they created the slider through the documentation from Slider Revolution through their documentation.

If you have contacted the theme developer make sure you request the “Slider export” they have used. If they provide you with this file we can upload, if not, we can’t go any further then what we have provided.”
