ramstellParticipantI’m working on my site using Integrity 7 and I’ve noticed there is an update available. Looking at the latest demo of Integrity 7 I’ve see the fonts have changed. I would like to update to keep my theme current, but I don’t like the new fonts and would like to use the standard fonts that came with the previous releases.
Can I update, but keep the old fonts? Also, I’m using a child theme.

ZeshanMemberHi there @ramstell,
Thanks for writing in!
Do you want to import the Integrity 7 demo content again or just update the theme and plugins? If you want to update themes and plugins only, you can do that and it won’t overwrite your current fonts. Updates don’t affect your Customizer settings.
Thank you!

Nabeel AModeratorHi again,
With the latest version of theme, everything needs to be updated for the compatibility. However you can use custom fonts https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/custom-font-2/ or Google fonts with any version of the theme.
Hope this helps!

ramstellParticipantWhere do I look to see what fonts the previous theme was using?
I can then look at ways to customize the latest theme as required.

LelyModeratorHi There,
We can find it in your current customizer settings > Appearance > Custom > Typographhy.
Hope this helps.

ramstellParticipantHi
My current theme does not have > Appearance > Custom > Typography. It just has the following:
> Appearance > Custom > CSS
> Appearance > Custom > JavaScriptIn > Appearance > Typography I have both Custom Fonts and Font Subsets turned off.
I cannot see anywhere what fonts are being used. I presume there is a file somewhere that’s specifying the theme fonts?

ramstellParticipantHi
Currently the previous version of the theme is installed which has the fonts I wish to retain.
I’m not sure what fonts these are without, I presume, looking in some css files?
I wish to update the latest version of the theme and retain the existing fonts.
Thanks

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
After updating your site, set all fonts to ‘Lato’, you can do this under Customize -> Typography.
Thanks.

ramstellParticipantHi
I’ve done that and it seems to work, but it hasn’t changed the main menu fonts.
Thanks
