Adam BParticipantHi there, just purchased X, just watched your ‘theme installation video’, when I choose the x.zip package I have downloaded in WordPress using ‘upload’, I only get this error page with a message: “The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.”

RubinKeymasterHi There,
this could be because your host is only allowing you a certain size of a file to upload, you can fix this by uploading it manually with FTP. Here’s a great article explaining how to do so: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes#Adding_New_Themes_Manually_.28FTP.29

Adam BParticipantYes, thanks, but which files exactly do I upload? Just folder x and folder x_photoshop?

ChristianModeratorHey Adam,
You’ll need to upload the X folder. Also, please read through our Potential Setup Issues document.
Thanks.

Adam BParticipantAll working fine now. Is there a way of changing the header sizes?
Done this so far: http://cms.markwilliamsonfurniture.comMarch 24, 2014 at 6:36 pm #26154
RubinKeymasterWhat exactly do you want to change concerning the header size?
March 25, 2014 at 10:34 am #26338
Adam BParticipantI would like to reduce the size if possible?

Esther GParticipantI am having this same problem with the theme not installing. I uploaded through the FTP, but it is not listed in my available themes. I even logged out of the dashboard and back in. Still nothing.

SupportMemberHey!
@Esther G: Make sure that you unzip the actual x theme from the theme package. Please watch this video to help you with the installation: http://theme.co/x/member/video-tutorials/installation/
@Adam B: You can adjust the header height on Customizer > Header > Navbar > Navbar Top Height. Input the height by px.March 26, 2014 at 4:35 am #26574
Adam BParticipantHi there, I don’t mean the header (top of the page), I mean the headers on a page, ‘Portfolio’ etc..
March 26, 2014 at 8:57 pm #26923
KoryKeymasterHey Adam,
I’m terribly sorry, but at this time I’m not entirely certain what it is you’re trying to adjust from the information given. We’ll need you to provide us with a mockup or screenshot with information showing us what you want as I cannot quite ascertain what it is you’re trying to accomplish. Additionally, if you wouldn’t mind doing this in a new thread it would be greatly appreciated as this one is beginning to get off topic, which makes things harder for users to find as they search the forum and it becomes tougher for us to track threads and their completion.
Thanks!
