    Hi

I allready read through the Threads:

I tried setting wp-content to 777 with no luck
I’ve also tried disabling all plugins with no luck
I can install other plugins (wordpress ask for the ftp user, and everything ok).

    I’m using:

    WP Version 4.7.2
    X-Theme Installed 4.6.4
    Cornerstone
    Version 1.3.3

    Server provides PHP 5.4.45

    Do you have any Ideas?
    Thank you in advance!

P.S. I will send you credentials as a private message

    Hey There,

    Thanks for writing in!

Please try resetting your WordPress files and folders permissions. The correct settings can be found here :

    http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2014/05/08/proper-wordpress-filesystem-permissions-ownerships/.

After resetting folders and files permissions, please keep all third party plugins disabled and try to install X addons plugins.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hi Rahul,

thanks a lot for your prompt reply!

I only have access to FTP so I sent the link to the provider.
They confirmed that they adjusted the permissions as shown.

    Still not working…

    Hey There,

    Thanks for writing back!

You can even manually install all the available extensions to any of your WordPress website. Just walk-through the following link now.

Hope this helps, let us know if we can help with anything else.

    Thanks!

    Thanks, Rahul!

    One more Question…

I haven’t dicided wich demo content I might use – but I guess its also going to be a problem to install it from the WP-dashboard.

Can I also install the demo content via FTP? I can find a file called “x-demo-content.xml”, is that all and where do I put it?

    Hi there,

You can import that XML file through standard WordPress import tool. But it’s different from the demo listed on X’s addon page. Expanded demo aren’t installable through FTP.

    Thanks!
