Hello Themeco-Team,

I want to change my “Read more” tag to an individual Tag for each post from the posts on my website https://alegrado.de/stress-blog/

To achieve this I used the second code snipped from this post https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/change-text-of-read-more-tag/ and added it to my functions.php as suggested. Sadly now the “Read more” tag is lost and when I look at “custom fields” I can`t find “excerpt_string”. Only “excerpt” but when I fill this field nothing will happen.

Can you please help me out with this issue?

Now I got it. I missed the part where I have to create a new field. I thought this field would appear automatically in the dropdown.
