Hi Support!
Recently my Mailchimp campaign hasn’t been sending because the feed page for my site (https://veganfitness.com) apparently has an incorrect formatting of PubDates. Here’s what they said:
“I took a look and can confirm that we were unable to access the feed the last 4 Monday’s. This could mean that the feed was down for maintenance or there are some formatting issues. I took a look at the feed’s HTML and the format of the PubDates looks to be off. This article sheds some more light on how the PubDates should be formatted that may be helpful: http://kb.mailchimp.com/campaigns/rss-in-campaigns/troubleshooting-rss-in-campaigns”
Is this something to do with the X theme? I know that the theme opts for the US style of date format as opposed to the UK format which is where I am based.
Thanks very much.
Darren.December 20, 2014 at 10:07 am #168096Hi There,
I’m not really sure what format you needed,
I check your FEED and can see this

it looks like the plugin generate and uses the format you set on wordpress and I don’t think this issue is related with X theme.
You can try changing the time/date format under Settings > General and see how it works,
Have a great day
December 22, 2014 at 3:06 pm #169160Hi Support,
Thanks for taking the time to get back to me. So, it turns out that actually Mailchimp cannot validate feeds hosted by Cloudflare. They have now told me that it wasn’t to do with the pubDate at all.
Sorry for wasting your time and I really appreciate you trying to help anyway!
Darren.
🙂
