Hi there,
Will there be an update to make your theme (specifically Renew) compatible with the OptimizePress plugin? Certain features in OP won’t show when your theme is activated. If not, do you have any recommendations on who I can speak to about making it compatible?
Thank you!
June 8, 2014 at 11:12 pm #53940Hi Mae,
Thank you for dropping by!
For this issue to be address more effectively, could you provide some detail about this compatibility issue? And which features were affected. Although we don’t support 3rd party plugin, we could still give you some recommendation as long as related to X.
Thank you.
June 9, 2014 at 3:31 am #54010Hi there,
Currently, the incompatibility issues I’ve run into are the overlays and button features. It doesn’t show up during the editing mode. I have to switch to a different theme to edit it, and when done, I switch back to Renew. The buttons and overlays do work on the actual published page no matter what theme.
Thank you!
June 9, 2014 at 9:58 am #54085Hi Mae,
Good to hear it’s working on the published page! We’d be happy to look into this a little further, but can’t promise we’ll be able to come up with a solution for the incompatibility. Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply to ensure that your data remains hidden

June 10, 2014 at 9:41 am #54554Hi Mae,
I logged in and tried editing a page. It looks like things are working at the moment. Are they any areas you’re still having issues with? Or did that update take care of things?
If you’re going to be using OptimizePress, you might want to consider disabling Visual Composer, as the OptimizePress live editor is handling much of this for you.
June 10, 2014 at 12:41 pm #54603I just tried again (with the Visual Composed deactivated) and it’s still not working. Which OS, browser and version did you use?
Thank you!

June 11, 2014 at 8:51 am #54975Hi Mae,
we looked into this and everything seem to work to some extend, as you know we do not support OptimizePress and we are not providing support for 3rd party plugins. We tried our best to go above and beyond to guide you to a solution but unfortunately we can’t start providing full support for 3rd party plugins since this would get out of hand soon as there are millions of plugins we would have to check for compatibility. I hope you understand that and if you have any other theme related questions feel free to contact us at any time!
September 26, 2014 at 6:32 pm #113534Just thought I’d throw this in for anyone else searching about OptimizePress.
They have a LOT of incompatibilities with various themes and plugins, so Mae’s experiences are not a surprise. They really need to improve their product.
I worked around it with a solution from another OP user. I’m building my opt-in pages on a subdomain. It doesn’t cost anything extra in WordPress and keeps my X installation nice and clean. I just direct clicks to the subdomain page and that’s that.
Hope it helps someone else.
Sharon
