I’m trying to create an image slider that duplicates the one found here (fair warning: some NSFW artistic nudity content): http://www.ryanmcginley.com/winter/

My client has curated all of his photos using NextGen Gallery, so I needed to use a slideshow that could pull from this plugin. I ended up using NextGen’s own NGG Slideshow, and added it in Cornerstone via shortcode in a text element.

The problem i’m having is that I can’t get it to fill the available page height and width as shown in the site above. I don’t want the page to have any scrolling necessary, and right now, longer images aren’t contained by the page and cause a vertical scroll bar to appear.

I think this is due to the settings of the containing section/row/column in Cornerstone, but i’m not sure how to fix the issue.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! We would suggest you to use Revolution Slider or Layer Slider since they are packaged with X and have full compatibility.

Unfortunately, neither Layer Slider nor Revolution Slider import from NextGen Gallery, which my client needs to use. I’m not requesting support with NGG Gallery plugin settings, rather i’m trying to figure out if the X theme settings can fix the page behavior i’m experiencing. I’m using shortcode in a text element in Cornerstone, I just need to know if there are any settings that are causing the content to go outside the page container, or a setting to ensure the content remains within the page container. Thanks!

Hello Andrew,

Upon checking, you’re using a Layout Fullwidth template. Please choose a template with container like Blank – Container. This will enable your content to use the site width you have set in the Customizer. Do let us know how this goes.
