Hi Guys, great theme and people behind it. I have learned a lot but have a long way to go.

Ok question, I have a max page size of 960px boxed and max picture size of 1024px set in customizer. For the fact that my images can be found in more than one place on the web, they are set at 1600 x 1600px. If I was to make them max the same width as the box, would they naturally load faster?

Accepting that they are dynamically resized for thumbs etc, but thinking smaller file start size = smaller files when resized and a faster load time.

Images are being set for web quality around 30% from original.

    Many thanks

    Ian

    Hi There,

Yes if you had the images with the necessary size would be better, but sometimes is not that crytic specially if the images are well compressed.

Beside being set for web quality, you can upload them to tinypng.com to reduce their size, it is a great tool.

    Hope it helps
