    Hi there,

    It’s intentional, and I think nothing will change. Settings will remain disabled for X theme only. It’s because X theme uses its own image sizes to fit the range of responsive image retina displays. A you may notice, woocommerce thumbnails aren’t that good on larger screen, or smaller screen with one column.

    Still, user has option to enable the settings back through custom code, just like above.
