I recently revisited a site I created last year and went through and updated the plugins and wordpress to the latest themes. I used icons on some pages and the icons have now turned to circles instead of the actual icon.

If you look at this page, you can see the green circle should be a life ring. The code used looks like this: [feature_headline type=”left” level=”h3″ looks_like=”h3″ icon=”life-ring”]Respect the Power[/feature_headline]

For the life of me, I can not figure out how I got this to work in the first place and what I did to make it stop working. Can anyone help here?

    Hi,

I can see you have the latest version of the theme but still using xshortcodes plugin.

Please note that x-shortcodes is being replaced by cornerstone in the latest version of X.

Kindly deactivate and delete x-shortcodes plugin then install cornerstone via Addons > Home

    Thanks

Ok, I have done this and now I am left with lines of code on my pages. What is the next step?

Got it! I installed the plugin instead of the add-on

That’s weird, on the latest X|Theme (v4.4.1) the Cornerstone should install automatically. Nevertheless, glad you sorted things out.

    Cheers!
