Kerri SParticipant1. The client decided that the independent scrolling sidebar is too hard for some of their users so they want a boxed layout home page with bands that go across the entire width of the box layout. While I was searching the forum I came across the answer when using the side bar, no container – header, footer. When I use that the sidebar comes back. I followed the instructions for disabling the sidebar in the widget/archive area but it still shows up. How can can I accomplish this?
2. Also, we would like the slider to go the full width of the boxed layout (again no sidebar) When I select full width in Slider Revolution it goes outside the boxed layout.
3. I tried changing from boxed to full width but when I do that I loose the sidebars in the internal pages. Is there a way to have it full width with sidebars on selected pages?
Thank you!!
Thanks!

ThaiModeratorHi There,
Please add the following CSS under Customizer > Custom > CSS:
.home .entry-wrap { padding-top: 0; } .home .entry-wrap > .x-container.max { width: 100%; max-width: 100%; }Then change your revolution slider to fullwidth:

Hope it helps 🙂

Kerri SParticipantthank you – almost there.
I’d like all page bands to have full width – image attached. <<<< edited I figured this out. I just removed .home from the CSS provided. Thanks. “.entry-wrap” was a bit burried before and I didn’t see it.
Also, when I choose full with on the slideshow it does not do the full width of the boxed layout. It’s the full width of the screen. Image attached.

ChristianModeratorSorry for the confusion. The Fullwidth Slider Layout option is for screen width. To contain it, you should use Auto. For more details, please see https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-setup/#slidelayout
Glad you figured the content band.
Thanks.
