ipostonParticipantHi, I am having trouble with my auto update. I registered by license api key to my domain jeffreysantos.com but it says I am on version 4.3 with no update available. To avoid doing this manually is there a way to trigger my auto update. I am using wp version 4.5 and my visual composer is not loading I think the problem is my X theme is running on 4.3 and not the latest version. Please advise my best next steps I can take to remedy this issue as I can’t update parts of my website without visual composer working. Thank you.

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Please try to update X manually this time, to do so follow this link : https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/
After updating X you should be able to update plugins from WP dashboard. If you still unable to update plugins through wordpress dashbard, please follow the steps:
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation.
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license.
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again. And please review the changes that we made on how you are going to validated your X theme because we made a big change in the process. Please check it out here: https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/
Hope it helps.

ipostonParticipantIt looks like my short-codes plugin won’t activate.

ipostonParticipantI was able to edit the vc-column.php file and comment out the error code. seems to be working now. I don’t see the error message in the view anymore. and everything is up to date. I also deleted the x-shortcodes plugin as I see conerstone is the replacement for x-shortcodes in the latest version of x theme. Thanks for the assistance x team!

ipostonParticipantFor anyone else with a similar problem I had. I also cleared my cache following other thread recommendations that I read while solving this issue. On chrome you can clear your cache by going to chrome://settings/cookies type in website.com in the search bar field and click remove all removing all the locally stored data for the website. That might help as well. π
