Please note that you can’t edit pages built in VC in classic mode.
Essentially, if you make edits to the output of Visual Composer in Classic Mode, it is very likely that you will not implement your changes appropriately with how Visual Composer requires things to be structured. It is for this reason that we always tell our users if you start using the Backend Editor that you must keep using that and cannot switch back and forth between the Backend Editor and Classic Mode due to the nuances of the plugin.
Likewise, if you start out in Classic Mode, you cannot just switch to the Backend Editor all of the sudden without experiencing this issue.
Thanks
February 18, 2016 at 12:19 pm #801994Hello,
I figured that was the case. It would be easier for me to use the front end but the Google Map and marker never appear unless I put the code in the backendFebruary 18, 2016 at 10:50 pm #802760Hi there,
You can insert the Google Map Marker when your add a Google Map shortcode in your page in Visual Composer front-end mode (see: http://prntscr.com/a55nrl).
Thank you!
February 19, 2016 at 11:36 am #803541Hi,
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I understand that. However, every time I try to create the map in front end mode nothing appears. I enter all the coordinates, choose the color, zoom, level, etc and nothing appears on the page.

March 2, 2016 at 8:34 am #820173HI,
It was on the contact us page. It doesn’t show up when I create it in the front end. I must be doing something wrong. I want the latitude to be 33.368313 and the long. at -84.5686339999997, draggable, zoom 10, height 300px, hue #0081b7, with a custom marker from the media library as well in that same lat/long.
March 2, 2016 at 11:45 am #820500Hey there,
Sorry for the confusion. We do not fully support the Front End Editor of Visual Composer. Please use the Backend Editor. Please see How Visual Composer is Used Within X at https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-visual-composer/
Thanks.
March 4, 2016 at 1:33 pm #823939Ok, I think I did it. Thx for the help
