My HTML5 video in rev slider is not responsive (can only get cover image to respond). Have searched everywhere on this forum and on themeco but no luck – flushing cache as I go…. Currently set to:
Full-screen
All Auto sizes except Desktop Large (set to 960 x 540 – video settings)
No min. height
.header (container setting)
disable force fullwidth: off
no decrease/increase height of slider setI want to fit the video perfectly within the screen (responsively) but the bottom of the video gets cut off (only video not the cover image).
Please help and thank you!

December 14, 2016 at 12:26 pm #1293086Understand problem with ipad (codecs issues) but STILL video is not responsive. I’ve created new rev slider with video as background (hosted on Vimeo – not HTML5) but still not responsive (see regentscapital.com). The preview in rev slider is perfect but when placed in container on home page, it is cut off. Please help me fix this ASAP – sent you login creds.
December 14, 2016 at 5:47 pm #1293487Hi there,
If you wish to maintain the aspect ratio of your video then you shouldn’t use fullscreen setting. The fullscreen setting is against aspect ratio. In fullscreen, the width change but the height isn’t (device height is followed). While with aspect ratio, the height change as the width changes too. You should set your slider to auto responsive and toggle on “Respect Aspect Ratio”. Then make your slider size equal to the size of your video.
Hope this helps.
December 15, 2016 at 12:23 pm #1294559I care most that the height of the slider is above the fold (and not under the masthead) regardless of screen width. How do I set it so that occurs even if the video is not full screen? Its ok to have the slider center in a black background band that runs full width. For now, I have done as you instructed as that is better than before but still want to see the entire video above the fold at any width.
December 15, 2016 at 5:47 pm #1294929Hi there,
You can try adding the video as a layer instead of a background. Then that should maintain the video aspect ratio even if the slide is full-width. Just make sure the video layer is position in center.
Thanks!
