Hello
I was wondering how we are supposed to update the bundled plugins ?

From what I read there is no direct updates only from what is provided from Xtheme?

my Revolution Slider and Layer Slider are saying they need updates but the Slider is not working correctly either?

So not sure if it needs an update or if something else is going on?

Please note that current supported version is Revolution Slider v5.1.6 and LayerSlider 5.6.2. Please downgrade your revolution slider to this supported version. Please also check this link:https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-revolution-slider/

We do our best to ensure that the version of Revolution Slider included with X is as up-to-date as possible; however, this might not always be the case based on the reasons listed in the “Bundled Version” stated on the link above, which includes stability, release cycles, and the fact that not all updates are necessary.

Please clarify the issue you were having when using the bundled version of those two plugins. You may give us the direct URL and then description of the issue.

How do I go about ‘downgrading’ my plugins? eek

I have not used LayerSlider at all so far.
Revolution Slider was the only one. It worked at first but then would not work and I couldn’t figure out how to get it working?

Hi there,

Please delete revolution slider and install it again from XAddons.

If you already have set up sliders, make sure to export their template before deleting revolution slider. After installing the plugin you can import slider templates.

I deleted the Revolution slider, and reinstalled from the XAddons and it still is the 5.2.3.5 version?

Is there any way to build a slider other than with Revolution Slider ?

Or is there a way to build a static image at the top without the slider?

Hi there,

Only revolution slider could be added above or below masthead.
There are other sliders as well which you can add them in content area of your page.

You can setup slider with slider element in cornerstone (http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/shortcodes/responsive-slider/) or layer slider plugin, see : https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-layerslider/
