Hello,
I’d like to add a contact form to my website, but I don’t see a shortcode or a page template for it. Do I need to install an additional plugin, such as Contact Form 7?
It seems strange to me, having in mind all the other functions of the X theme….
Thank you in advance<2

Thanks for writing in!
Yes, X is compatible with Contact Form 7 (free) and Gravity Forms (paid) plugins. As these are 3rd party plugins, X cannot bundle them and you’ll need to install them separately. So, you can install Contact Form 7 plugin directly from your admin panel under Plugins > Add New.
Cheers!
June 17, 2015 at 9:13 pm #305540I am having trouble with the contact form 7 with Cornerstone. When contact form 7 is activated, none of my saved work on page loads in Cornerstone or publishes. Is there any help for this?
June 18, 2015 at 2:38 am #305768I have the same problem…. did you find a solution?
June 18, 2015 at 3:49 am #305808Hey there,
Please give us access to your WordPress admin and FTP. But first, please ensure your X version is 4.0.3 and Cornerston 1.0.2.
Thanks.
June 29, 2015 at 2:53 pm #316324I’ve been having the same issue. Using the latest versions of each. When adding the contact form 7, cornerstone spins and doesn’t show the contact form, but still allows you to add more blocks/sections etc and even appearing to save.
Would like to see a solution to this.
June 29, 2015 at 5:54 pm #316463Hi There,
Sorry you are having this issue, this is a known bug on latest version of contact form 7 and our Dev Team is still working hard to solve this. In the meantime you can either downgrade to Contact form 7 v7.4.1.2 or place your contact form shortcode on a RAW Content element.
Thank you for understanding, Cheers!
July 10, 2015 at 4:59 am #326552Hi, this isn’t just an issue with Contact Form 7. My X-site started doing this before I installed CF7. When using Cornerstone none of my elements preview – only the background and haeder etc.
Please could someone help with this?
Thanks!

Kindly make sure that the Mail setting of the contact form has been correctly setup. You can find it in Contact Forms > Edit > Mail.
Hope this helps.
