I am wanting my header to have a slider. Everytime i make a slider it or any other widget shows up in this little (+) symbol section at the upper right hand corner of page. This symbols must be clicked for the slider to show.

I do not want that. I want that gone & for the slider to be on the page without anything having to be clicked.

Can someone please help me out?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Please head over to Appearance -> Customize -> Header -> Widgetbar and set Header Widget Areas as none.

If I set it to none, where does my slider end up? I have tried this but then I get nothing. When I select 1-4 the + shows up & the slider is in there. But I want the slider on the page, not in the +. I’d like the slider to be centered over the products.

Thanks for writing back. So you are using the slider within the header widget? Then why you should remove the icon that triggers the header? It doesn’t make any sense because the header widget will be inaccessible if you hide this icon.

I think you should not use the slider there rather you can use this above masthead. From your page editor, let’s set the slider above masthead – http://prntscr.com/b8yiq3
