genesistradersParticipantI have a background image on my homepage that I want to display in the full area and to adjust automatically to a users display/device.
I see this on most wordpress themes as a standard but I cannot seem to get my image to do it.the page is at: http://www.genesistraders.com
it is the blue background image with the white text.
I want it to default filling the section, and for the next section to only show when the user begins scrolling down. Thanks!

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

genesistradersParticipantHi Rupok,
To make it simpler:
I want to adjust the BG image in x-section 1 on my homepage: genesistraders.com
The BG image is a blue colored image.I am attaching a screen show, with the site in its current state, and with red arrows showing where I want the image to fill. I want the image to be responsive and to be full screen automatically no matter what size display.
Here is an example website:

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back! Still not sure about the issue as your screenshot was not uploaded due to exceeded file size. Your attachment should be within 512KB. You can also use this tool to add your screenshot – http://prnt.sc
Cheers!

genesistradersParticipantHi Rupok,
the screenshot is not needed. If you are able to see this website, then you should also be able to see our website at: genesistraders.com
I am not sure how much simpler I can state the issue, “the blue background image only covers half the page.”
since you are unable to view the website, here is a screenshot using the tool you asked:

LelyModeratorHi There,
Thank you for the clarification,
We can addmin-height: 100vh;on section 1’s style field. Then to center the content, you may add top margin to your Custom Headline.Hope this helps.
