When I load our site (www.cvhps.com), the content rows below the slider load first, then the slider appears above and shifts everything down. Is there a way to have the slide appear first? Or, at the very least, I want to have an image (or even a solid block of color or background) appear where the slider will eventually settle.
On fast connections, this shift is not very noticeable, but on slower devices, it’s very apparent. There is just a large blank space where the slider should be.
The images we have are high-res, but they’re not that big. It seems like the slider should appear quicker.

To set the background image for your slider, please edit your slider under Layout & Visual > Appearance > Slider Background > Show Background Image > switch to On > click on the Set button to select the image:
