    Hello,

i’m trying to implement a calendar in cornerstone, so that its fits into my content area, but it doens’t work. I put a shortcode in a raw content element and it only shows the shortcode as a text. What did i do wrong? It would be great if you could helb me.

I used one of these shortcodes:

    Thanks,

    Hi Marco

Did you Install the Event Calendar Plugin and than The Event Calendar Shortcode Plugin?

    Are both of them activated?

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/

    https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-shortcode/

Make sure to follow the installation process on both of them.

You did correct on placing the shortcode on the Raw Content.

Let us know if you are still facing the issue after confirming both plugins are properly installed and activated.

    Thanks

    Joao

    Hi Marco / X Support,

I am looking for a calendar plugin now, and I have noticed there are issues with some with X theme, so before I choose one I am looking for a thread with a good outcome regarding calendar.. and then I will use that plugin… so just wondering Marco, if this ended up working OK for you?

    Thx so much,

    Kirste

    Hi there,

When a calendar/event plugin has its own template system similar to Woocommerce, Buddypress, and bBpress then it may not going work. Some need proper integration like what we did on those plugins.

Since calendar/event plugins are not something unfamiliar to X theme. Then there are no any integrations. We will only find that out upon testing them.

    Thanks!

    @ Kirste,

i am still working on the calendar. The functions work good so far, but right now it’s complicated for me to adjust the frontend. I’m not satisfied with the look of it and i don’t know if i am able to implement it the way i want it. If you have a better solution for a calendar please share 🙂

    Cheers,

    Marco

    Hey Marco,

Events calendar is one of the best solution available for WordPress. A simple google search might give you a better idea as we might not be able to recommend a plugin we haven’t extensively tested with X theme.

    Thanks

    Hey there,

i really hope that you can help me.

i tried to solve my “TEC” problem for a few hours now. I have installed the plugin added some events. But no matter what setting i choose for the calendar, it only shows the same front-end. I don’t get it. I tried to deinstall the plugin and install it again… nothing happens.

Maybe you can help. Would be great. I am getting crazy about it.

    Cheers,

    Marco
