    Thank you

    Hey Luigi,

    Thanks for writing in! If you haven’t taken the time to do so, definitely make sure you consult all of our resources in the Knowledge Base, as we have dozens of in depth articles and videos that go over basic setup questions like this. You can easily hide post meta information by going to the Blog section of the Customizer and disabling it there.

    Thanks!

    I have tried adjusting these settings countless times, on, off, just to see if that might trigger the Tags NOT to appear on the Index page. Alas, the instruction doesn’t work.

    Perhaps it’s the fact that when the following combination are chosen tags erroneously cannot be removed…?

    Blog Masonry – Three Columns

    Archives – Style – Masonry
    – Layout – Fullwidth

    Archive Masonry – Three Columns

    Content – (nothing selected)

    As shown here: http://d.pr/i/aPrB

    Yet, as shown, the blog index page still displays the Tags: http://d.pr/i/SGw3

    Please help.

    Hey Ross,

    Sorry for any confusion on this. I assumed from the first post that the post meta information was what the user wanted to remove since the title is How to Hide Meta Tag, but I see now that they mean the tags in the footer and not what we refer to as the meta information of the post. To do this, you will need a little custom CSS which you can find in this post here in the forum.

    Thanks!

    Hi.
    The link to the post explaining how to hide tags is not working.

    All my posts and portfolio items have a huge “tags” listed on the right side.

    How do I hide the tags?

    Thank you.

    Hi Steve,

    The css given works on integrity, please tell us which stack you were using.

    Or just choose macthing css here :

    .x-integrity .post .entry-footer {
      display: none;
    }

    .x-renew .post .entry-footer {
      display: none;
    }

    .x-icon .post .entry-footer {
      display: none;
    }

    .x-ethos .post .entry-footer {
      display: none;
    }

    Thank you.

    Hi There,

    Are you referring to this?

    To remove the Meta widget, navigate to Appearance > Widgets, then delete the Meta widget on the Main Sidebar (or whichever sidebar you’re using).

    Hope it helps, Cheers!

    It does! Sorry that was more wordpress than Theme X, but you gave great support on it as well! Really appreciate it.
