I added animated gif files to my media library & I have easy media pro upgrade. When I add them to my page via inserting media like a pic, they don’t animate. Is there a way to do this?

July 23, 2015 at 8:34 pm #338848Hi there,
Thanks for writing in! Inserting an animated gif is the same process of adding any image, like you did. The only setting to watch out for is for you to insert the original (Full-size) and not a resized copy. Once you do this it should work, if not please update us and we’ll take a closer look. Thanks!
Another important note: Upon checking your site, we see that you still have X-Shortcodes activated. Please deactivate and delete X-Shortcodes. Then install Cornerstone even if you don’t intend to use our new page builder. Cornerstone retires and replaces X-Shortcodes. The shortcodes required for X to funciton properly are within Cornerstone, hence it is a required plugin.
This should fix other issues on your site. Thanks!

July 27, 2015 at 6:56 am #341708Hi Susan,
This change came with our X 4.0.0 update. You can review our Changelog for more information. As for the 3rd party plugin, regretfully, we cannot guarantee their compatibility with the theme or provide support for 3rd party plugins.
Thanks!

July 27, 2015 at 7:16 am #341725Hi there,
Please install Cornerstone which is replacement of X shortcodes. Then you can delete X shortcodes plugin.
Thanks.
