Luke ChiodoParticipantHello Theme Co.
I’m checking my site on search engines, and found that the ALT TAG is missing from the website’s logo in the menu navigation bar, despite the ALT tag being present in wordpress media admin. What can I do to include the ALT Tag with the logo being displayed?
See image.
Thanks

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for posting in.
Where did you set your ALT tag in admin? It should your site’s description under WordPress’s setting.
Would you mind providing your site’s URL and admin login credentials in private reply? It can be related to cache too.
Thanks!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Cornerstone image element doesn’t display alt tag, you can add a text element and insert
<img>tag to fix this issue.e.g:
<img class="x-img x-img-none" src="https://www.4morefightshorts.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/fight-short-fearless.png" alt="alt text">Hope it helps.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Upon checking on the page, most of the images has already the alt tags. That also includes your logo as shown here:

Could you please point us which of the image has the missing alt?
Since you are using SiteGround, could you please disable the supercacher in your hosting panel? The SuperCacher is developed by SiteGround exclusively for their customers. It increases the number of hits a site can handle and boosts the website loading speed. The SuperCacher includes 4 different caching options for maximum optimization of your websites. You can access the tool by clicking on the SuperCacher icon in your cPanel.
For more information about this, please check it out here: https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/supercacher/supercacher_intro.htm
Thank you.

JadeModeratorHi Corrie,
Favicons do not have to have alt tags with them. You may check it here as per W3C standards: https://www.w3.org/2005/10/howto-favicon
Your Themeco account will stay active even after the 6 month support period as many customers use the forums for interactions beyond support such as licensing, etc, thus you can still post and get answers here in the forum.
Hope this helps.
