    Hi team!
Google webmaster tools suggests site maps. Do I do this using the RSS feed? If so what do I put in the RSS box in customizer?

    1. Your URL.
    2. Your WordPress login credentials.
    3. Your FTP credentials (in case we need to check anything out on your server).

    Hey Susan,

Sorry for the confusion here. X doesn’t have a site map functionality and RSS feed is not a site map. You need to setup an XML sitemap plugin. Yoast SEO Plugin has that feature so you won’t need an extra XML sitemap plugin. It is easy to setup. Just follow the instructions from the plugin’s website. You might also want to setup an HTML sitemap so you’ll need a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/html-sitemap/

    Thanks.

    Hi Again,

I already have BWM GXS Are you suggesting I replace that with the Yoast plugin as well as the html plugin?

Last night I went to google webmaster tools and they asked me to verify my website again. I am guessing that the BWN GXS isn’t working well. Not sure how that one was set up on my site.

    Hi Susan,

You could use Yoast or HTML sitemap. Feel free to choose any, however Yoast is more popular.

    Thanks!

Before I try this, can you answer one more question.

Should I inactivate the BWN GXS first then load and activate the Yoast?

Last night I went back into webmaster & google asked that I re-verify my site, something I did at least 5 times already. I did that again last night and noticed this morning when I mistayped my site, both goggle & bing suggested a correct site, which means the site maps done at least are working.

So the other question is, can I do the Yoast in addition to BWN GXS?

    Hey Susan,

Yes, please deactivate your plugin and install and activate Yoast. Please use 1 SEO plugin only. Using your current plugin along side with Yoast might produce a conflict.

    Thanks.

    Thanks

I Did it. It accepted all the site verifications already. That is good. Do you think the premium is worth buying?
    Like it much better.

    Hey Susan,

Happy it worked for you, about the premium, it really depends on your needs and budget. Nut keep in mind that Yoast SEO is already working really well on the free version.

    Cheers.
