    Hi there,

    I have lot of content added to the “footer content” in the customizer.
    Is it possible to show that content only on specific pages while the footer menu remains?

    Thank you

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in!

    You can use page id to show or hide content on certain posts and pages. Please walk-through our knowledgebase:

    Thanks.

    Hi Prasant Rai,

    thanks for pointing in the right direction.

    So now I know where to find the page id and I know that I have to show/hide the x-colophon-content div.
    What’s the most effective way to do this?

    Thank you

    Hi there,

    I figured it goes like this:

    .page-id-XXX .x-colophon-content {
    display:none ;
    }

    But somehow it is not working on mobile browsers.
    Any idea why?

    Thank you

    Hello There,

    Thanks for updating in! The code should have work in your mobile. Please clear the browser cache in your mobile phone. You might need to use private browsing mode and test your site again. And since you have installed a caching plugin WP Super Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.

    Please let us know how it goes.

    Thank you! I think it was that caching issue!
