    Hi,

I need to disable the gallery/slideshow functionality embedded in the lightbox provided by you, but can’t figure it out.

I have a page with several images and I want each one of them to indepently open in a lightbox, but not to group them in a gallery like lightbox.

I’ve tried to use the parameter that defines the size of previous/next images and set it to zero. However, this doesn’t disable navigation..users using mouse scroll button or arrow keys can still open one image and jump to another, back and forth.

Of course I’ve read other posts and know that if i create and independent class for each image, independent lightbozes woul be created. But this has two problemas:
1 – Creating a bunch of classes in each page to manage each image is kind of unmanageable. When you0re creating pages and replaving images and so on.
2 – Having several classes in one page seems to not work very wel as I’ve observed ocasional erratic behaviour in lightboxes when I’ve tried it

so…I would like to go for the simple solution. I just use one class for all images, but need to disable the “smartness” of the shortcode trying to create slideshows, galleries, navigation and so on.
    This should be possible…is it?

    Thanks for your attention.

    Hi Miguel,

    Thanks for posting in.

Unfortunately, what you’re trying to achieve is not possible with ilightbox ( bundled to X ). It is another library which we can’t provide core editing. We already tried that but with no success so we’re looking another way to implement it but there is no yet ETA for this.

You can achieve that if you will use unique class name for each image, and new lightbox shortcode for each unique class name (selector).

OR, you can use 3rd party plugin for lightbox.

    Thanks for understanding.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your answer.
Using multiple unique class names for each image seems to bring it’s own set of problems as the behaviour becomes erratic…

Hope you can come up with a good lightbox solution soon.

    Best regards,
