Hello there,
i am running several blogs with different themes.
Withing X-Theme i can’t figure out, how i can get my “blog logo” called “blavatar” running correctly with wordpress.com 😐When i make a subscription to a blog i get an email to confirm it. This mail, and some others, are send from wordpress.com and when i included my blog logo correctly, it appears in th eupper right corner of that mails.
Where in X-Theme i need to apply this logo?! With other themes it works out perfectly, never had issues yet. Of course i uploaded a logo to my header section withing the theme customisation, but this not seems to work for the wordpress.com mails…
Any ideas? Would be pleased to hear from you!
Best wishes from .dE,

Thanks for writing in! Blavatars or (Blog Icons) is a WordPress.COM feature which would mean that the administrators of the .com site have added special code to allow it. On self-hosted installs, we call that the FAVICON. In X, you can easily create and upload a custom site icon right in your customizer, Appearance > Customize > Site Icons. Easily manage your favicon for desktop, touch icon for mobile devices, and tile icon for the Windows 8 Metro interface in this section. If an image is not set, nothing will be output for that particular icon type. When setting the path to your favicon, make sure you are using the “.ico” format. A 152×152 PNG should be used for your touch icon, and a 144×144 PNG should be used for your tile icon. The color you set for your tile icon will be used behind your image.
Hope this helps.
