I’m particularly interested in creating something like http://theme.co/x/demo/renew/1/
If I could add icons next to the labels, it would be even better. How can I do this?
December 21, 2014 at 11:35 pm #168561Hey there,
Please insert
<i class="x-icon x-icon-home"></i> Home
to your Navigation Label (see http://prntscr.com/5jl53p). Changehome
to the icon type listed at http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/shortcodes/icons/Hope that helps. 🙂
December 22, 2014 at 10:18 am #168976That solves the problem of having Icons, thanks, but the other issue about creating a big menu which is split into a few columns with each column having a separate heading just like in the link I provided when you click on the shortcodes label. It is split into 4 colums with headings 1-9, 10-19, 11-20. That’s what I meant. And the possibility of having these headings with an icon.

Thanks for clarifying! Unfortunately it won’t work on Footer menu. Megamenu is designed for header menu and meant to use it there.
Thanks
September 16, 2015 at 7:46 am #390547Oh. That’s disappointing. For most websites, I see mega menus at the footer, not header. Are you guys planning to add this feature in the future?
Andy
September 16, 2015 at 8:18 am #390597Hi Andy,
We certainly appreciate the feedback! This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive. Thanks!
March 11, 2016 at 5:36 pm #834198Hi there,
I searched it on the knowledge base and forum, but did not found.
How I can make megamenu to drop-down and collapse only by clicking on it? Not by hovering.Thank you in advance!
March 11, 2016 at 9:19 pm #834376Hello @xeominum,
Thanks for updating this thread! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X that you can open a sub menu by clicking on the parent menu item. The default is that you hover on the parent menu item and the sub menu will display. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
Thanks for understanding. Take care!

May 4, 2016 at 6:10 am #912235Hi there,
The provided URL uses Ubermenu plugin to create such menu.
