    Thanks for the URL!

    Upon checking, the CSS code is working just fine for me (see: http://prntscr.com/8nxumx). Also when using different unicode, it changes the icon just fine as can be seen in the screenshot. Would you mind confirming the issue again?

    In regard to the further styling to transparent the accordion, while we are happy to help with the occasional quick tweak here or there, we are well into the custom development realm, which is outside the scope of support we can offer. If you need more in depth changes, you may wish to consult with a developer. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

    Upon checking, I can see you have not set-up a child theme yet.

    Kindly set-up a child theme – https://community.theme.co/kb/how-to-setup-child-themes/

    Then add the code in wp-content/themes/x-child/style.css
