1) I’m trying to add images to the top mega menu in one column. Which will be look like this site:
When you click on the “resources” you will see the left hand side has a image with button. I would like to add an image with embedded link on mega menu too. Try other post suggestions but not successful.
May I ask is there anyway I can do that Easily?
2) Is there anyway I can make the mega menu expand when hover, not required click to open the sub menu?
Many thanks. I Look forward to hearing from you.
March 13, 2015 at 1:42 pm #226754Hi Frank,
Thanks for writing in!
#1: Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
#2: The Megamenu should only open on hover (check our demo, hover on “Shortcodes”), can you provide us the URL of your website so we can take a closer look?
Thanks!

#1 So which mean it doesn’t have any easy way to attached image with link instead of text link? It would be great if it can be. I thought it is one of the mega menu feature. If you can guide me how to do it will be great…
#2 I found the problem, it is my browser issue. I clear cache and it works. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for your help.
So #1 add image with link instead of “text link” is not easy to do? Is there any guide can guide me through this..?
I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you very much.
March 16, 2015 at 9:17 am #228225Hi Frank,
You can add your image code as navigation label like this

Change image.jpg with the absolute path of your image.
Hope that helps.

March 16, 2015 at 11:40 am #228407Hmmm…. Now I’ve got all sorts of ideas. 🙂
March 16, 2015 at 2:52 pm #228559Great to hear that! 🙂
Cheers!
March 16, 2015 at 3:37 pm #228601Honestly though… adding media into the menu is becoming super popular. You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve needed to work super hard to remove your entire menu system from X just to have a customer install UberMenu.
I know you’ve heard it before… but having this integrated is just something people want. 😛
March 16, 2015 at 9:17 pm #228782Thanks for your feedback Charlie. I’ll take note of this as feature request.
