On my X site, the BuddyPress user profile dropdown, notifications, and search are part of the WordPress admin bar ( http://imgur.com/IvqA7iB ). I want my non-admin members to have these things on the header, so they don’t have to see the WP admin bar.

    Some themes do this:

How do I style my BuddyPress notifications, profile dropdowns, and search to be integrated to the X header bar? Just like what you’d see on ProductHunt ( http://imgur.com/PbqC8xZ ), Twitter, Facebook, Quora, etc.

    Hi There,

Thanks for posting in and giving us screenshot. To include Buddypresss on main menu, please go to Appearance > Customize > Buddypress > Navbar Menu : Set to ON

    Hope this helps.

I am also trying to achieve the same thing.

I have activated the customizer option you have suggested, but it only shows an icon and a few sub-menu items.

How can I add avatar picture, notifications, and full profile menu dropdowns?

Hover over the profile picture and menu notification in this menu for a live example: http://demos.buddyboss.com/boss/

    Hello There,

Thanks for updating this thread! Regretfully, this particular customization request is outside the scope of our support as this is not related to an issue with the theme and instead has to do with your customization of it. As such, you will need to investigate this particular issue on your own or seek help from a developer should you not feel comfortable making these changes yourself. If you have any further questions about the theme, we are more than happy to provide you with assistance on these inquiries.

    Thank you for your understanding.

But it’s related to the setting within the theme customizer. How is that not part of the theme?

    Hi There,

The menu that is included on the Customizer settings is only a static menu. What you’re requesting with avatar picture, notifications, and full profile menu is dynamic.

It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

    Thanks for understanding.
