    Hi there,

    Favicon should be in .ico format. You can generate .ico format here http://www.favicon.cc/

    Very confusing.

    Uploaded both 144px ico and 152 px ico.

    However, only one place to insert the link from Media Library, I used the 152 image.

    However, no favicon.

    Would you mind clearing and deactivating the W3 Total Cache in meantime? And may we know where did you place that old icon?

    I have deactivated W3 Total Cache.

    The other image was in my Media Library. I had posted it as a test image on the home page before downloading the Demo content. I have now deleted it from the Media Library.

    I don’t know if it was showing before I deactivated and deleted the other image, but it is now showing.

    Hi everyone, I did all of this but the favicon is only showing on my homepage, it won’t show on other pages. Any help to solve this?

    You know, you can do this a lot easier than Chris’ instructions. Just upload the ico to your media right in the WP dashboard like you would any photo. Then click on the ico image in the Media Library. Copy the url for the image. Paste that into the Customizer > Site Icons tab.

    This is a good site to convert an image (jpg or png, etc) to an ico. http://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-ico
