I am dumbfounded by this reply. I have seen you replying to others here with the same news, all the time that there was a very clear message at the top of this blog by your company saying that x-theme is aware of the slider revolution problem and is working to get it fixed. Do you read your own company’s messages?
The front page of my site has a slider with photos as the main full-screen image. It is not drawing on my system and my developers sytem 4500 miles away. If it is for you, you must be a saint or a magician.
Here’s repsonse #1233553 from your co-worker Rahul sent soon after yours:
“Hey There,
We are really sorry for what’s happening around with the new update of Slider Revolution. We know there “were” problems and we are trying to figure out why it is happening in a few installations we have released two updates together with Theme Punch hoping the issue would have been fixed with it, unfortunately it seems it is not for some people. We’re still investigating it.
Thanks for your patience!”
Hey Joao – Get it together! Please do your job!
thanks
October 27, 2016 at 2:47 pm #1233683GOLDEN RULE
We ask that the tone be kept courteous and professional (with a little fun on the side). If posts are made outside this realm, we reserve the right to remove them and in certain cases, the user account as well.
Attached is the screenshot of your Slider Revolution Working Fine on different browsers. Chrome Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Please let us know what browser, browser version and device you are using while experiencing the issue.
Thanks
October 27, 2016 at 3:55 pm #1233765sorry if you were offended, but really…
Golden rule for customer service – never tell the customer that everything is fine when they tell you it’s not. Especially when your own company has noted their error in providing an update that breaks people’s sites. Right? An apology from you (acting as a representative of your compnay) is much more in order, along with assurance that you would do all you can to help.
I am absolutely sure I am not alone in this sentiment.
And… you did not answer my question which is the substance of this thread: “How do I go back to a working version Slider Revolution?” you didn’t even address it at all!
Anyway, I’m checking more at my end to see if the initial problem has been resolved at yours. I’ll get back to you.
Thanks and All the best – Franklin
October 27, 2016 at 4:06 pm #1233791Hi Franklin,
In the meanwhile I went to one of my websites that I did not update and downloaded Slider Revolution.
You can access your website via FTP and replace the file from WP-Content/Plugins/Revslider for this one.
We are aware, a personally I am on this fight since the beginning, of some bugs, they are isolated cases and as proven by my screenshots not easy to spot without the collaboration of our customers, your website on my end works on Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer(Which is a known buggy browser) Your collaboration is crucial for us to solve the issue, and that is why I asked the details. We have been in contact with Theme Punch(Slider Revolution Developer) and we have released already two updtades believe we had managed to fix the issue.
I did got really upset, I personally spent around 3h on your website doing customization, something you hardly will find in any product support, I have been an X customer before working here and the staff always looked after me and I try to follow the same standard.
You have the file attached.
You need to upload it via FTP. go to WP-Content/Plugins/
Remove RevSlider and Add this one. You won´t lose anything
Hope that helps,

October 27, 2016 at 4:27 pm #1233821I just followed Joao’s instructions and it solved my problem. I was seeing the same issue as you, Franklin.
October 27, 2016 at 4:38 pm #1233834Hi Joao and thanks for your reply. Rev Slider has caused us a big pain in the a– on a number of occasions. This time, it was worse. It seems we’ve managed to get the site working again and I do appreciate all you’ve done to help and all your help in the past. Truly. For more of a complete description to how I view the responsibility in this issue (if it’s at all interesting to you) please see my reply to the thread “Why would you present an update that breaks people’s sites?”
all the best – Franklin
October 27, 2016 at 11:19 pm #1234220Hi Franklin,
Sorry for the inconvenience you faced. Note that Revolution Slider is the most popular slider out there and we bundled this to add value and certainly for the user’s convenience. Sometimes it happens even after testing multiple times and the issue you faced was very rare and not everyone faced this. It’s pretty usual for a software I believe. The good thing is we were able to get the fix quickly from the original developer since it’s not managed by Themeco. We appreciate your quick feedback and patience.
Cheers!

November 14, 2016 at 9:05 am #1256486This morning I updated rev slider on one site and the slider didn’t show at all after the update. I tried every suggestion I could find and nothing worked UNTIL I followed the above. Replacing the folder worked and now the slider is showing on my site again.
Hopefully an update will come out that fixes whatever is going on.November 14, 2016 at 9:45 am #1256537Hey There,
Thank you for your feedback!
I have submitted your feedback to our development team for further review.
Thanks!
