I’ve been using the Integrity theme as a layout for my first website. I’m very new to WordPress and just got down how to use child themes. I want to make a video appear as soon as the website it loaded and have the navbar appear at the bottom of the video. This is causing me issues as I don’t know where to go to properly change this. I copied all the files from my Parent X them: Path: x-the-theme\x_package\x.zip\x\framework\views, to the child theme folder in the same directory. Yet I still can’t seem to find these folders when I try and edit it online. And I’m not sure if I’m suppose to edit these php files on my local computer then once the changes are made then re-upload my x child theme. Through looking at some of the php files in the global folder I don’t know where to go in order to edit the positioning of my navbar. I would like to know how these files connect to one another, how they should be used, and what’s the proper process I need to edit the navbar. Should I edit it on my local computer through a text editor or online in WordPress. Anything would help, thanks!

If so, then you’ve gone too far. You don’t need any custom template to achieve that, so please undo your child theme to its default state.

Let do this slowly but surely, first install the Revolution Slider, under the Addons > Extensions panel.

Then create your Slider with transparent background color, do not put the video there yet, we will apply that as a video background later. Just create your slider add text, images, etc.

After you have the slider, edit your page and set Slider Settings: Above Masthead on it, using the slider you just created and your video as the Video Background.
