There seems to be a default picture that was set automatically somehow that is being used as the picture when i share my blog post to Facebook. How can i change this picture?

    Hi there,

Your featured image supposed to be used to show. If you don’t have featured image then it will try to pull an image from the content. You can also set the Social Fallback image from Customize > Social. Also if you use a plugin like “SEO by YOAST” then you will get better control.

    Cheers!

Yes, i know but there is something wrong with the image that the Facebook share algorithm keeps using, so i want to change it. I’ve tried changing the featured image and deleting the original one, but it still uses the image that has a problem with it.

    Hi there,

Please clear cache and check again. If you wish to use other image but featured image you should install Yoast plugin to manage content on sharing media.

    Hope it helps.

Clearing the cache didn’t work. I want to be able to use the featured image.

Nevermind. Sorry to bother you. It was working right to begin with–it just didn’t look right to me because the watermark is positioned differently in the FB share image.
