    Dear Staff,

    When I visit my Home Page (see http://www.dipa.com.au) there is often a delay (or lag) on my Menu and Social Media ‘icons’ before they show (see attachment)

    This has been happening for some time and I need to know how to fix this.

    Please help!

    Sorry, it didn’t attach before…..

    **Note – The non-display lag doesn’t happen every time, but it happens on say 70% of occassions…

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! It seems your font awesome icons are not loading because it has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy – http://prntscr.com/9ylx05

    Looks like your host doesn’t allow for cross origin. Please try adding this to your .htaccess file:

    <IfModule mod_headers.c>
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
</IfModule>

    Please see http://enable-cors.org/ for more details.

    Thank you Staff, but where exactly should I insert the .htaccess file you sent me?

    Is it by using Customize > CSS in Cornerstone (the same as other fixes I have been sent my X-Theme?)or somewhere else?

    You need to access your host provider and make this changes outside wordpress.

    Hey Joao,

    Thank you for your feedback.

    I have forwarded on your responses to the person who manages my hosting and they will action your instructions for me. I’m considering this issue resolved to my satisfaction (based on Theme-Co’s great support I have received to date) and should your fix not work I’ll contact you in the near future.
