auldreekieParticipantI’m using custom CSS to highlight the current/parent page link in my main navigation.
.x-navbar li.current-menu-item a, .x-navbar li.current-page-ancestor a, .x-navbar li.current_page_item a { font-weight: 700!important; }I’d like the Portfolio parent page link to remain highlighted when users click through from the portfolio posts grid to a portfolio single/details page.
My top level portfolio page is set as the parent page for each of my portfolio posts, but the navigation code doesn’t change – I was expecting to see a current-page-ancestor style appear in the li item.
<li id="menu-item-45" class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-45"><a href="xxx/projects/"><span>Projects</span></a></li>Can this be done?

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for posting in.
It depends on current setup, basically, portfolio home page and portfolio single items are only connected through PHP coding and not with CSS. We can check that out, please provide your site’s URL that has this menu,
Thanks!

LelyModeratorHi There,
Thank you for the credentials. Upon checking, you don’t have portfolio content under Portfolio custom posts type. Please do give us the exact link where the issue exist.
Always,
