Hi All,
I’m planning a local direcotry type site for a village which here in the UK with a good tourist trade. We want to feature listings for various businesses (both for tourists and residents). I’ve been doing some research and decided I’d like to use X (already done a few brochure sites with X) and use a 3rd party plugin to handle the local directory listings. I want the flexibility of X to create a great unique experience when it comes to the homepage and main category pages but have the listings powered by a plugin that works very well with X. The directory will be simple – we are talking about a rural village in England so maybe a hundred or so listings to start with.

Thanks for writing in! As you may already aware, we do not provide any support for 3rd party plugins or scripts. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
You may try testing with some of the known plugins.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I understand support is not provided for 3rd part plugins. I’m just trying to get advice from people who can recommend particular plugins based on their experiences. Also if possible I’d like to get an idea of the integration other people have done by sharing example sites that use the X theme and a direcotry plugin.
