admin1antParticipantI have installed the X Theme and am going through the motions as best I can to complete the installation. There are certain messages that are there on the WP admin relating to installation that I would like someone to look at.
Messages like: Activate Visual Composer, Essential Grid. I have followed the links to activate, but the messages return. Also not sure if Cornerstone has loaded properly as its icon does not appear on the list of icons in the main admin panel. Also *Ajax error* comes up. A few other things too like layerslider not being installed and something about max filesize upload not meeting the requirements 20M what I have apparently to 32M listed for Layerslider. I am looking into the specs I need for hosting also to make sure I am on point for that side of things. If someone could look at my installation of the theme to check it over that would be helpful.May 2, 2016 at 7:46 am #908991

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Please ignore the message about visual composer and essential grid activation, those plugins come bundled in x and don’t need activation code.
Cornerstone panel is located on left sidebar, please see the attachment.
In regards with Ajax not loading, please contact your host and let them know there are 503 and 500 errors in your site, this is mostly due to security settings or permissions errors with the server. For this particular situation, you will need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to ensure that your file permissions are set correctly. Additionally, this could be related to a ModSecurity rule being triggered due to a combination of keywords used in the core WordPress files for the Customizer. This should be able to be remedied by writing into the support team at your host and asking them to whitelist the ModSecurity rules on your domain.
Layer slider has been installed, and in regards upload Max. Filesize, it could be a potential problem. It is best to increase it to the minimum recommended or higher. Please contact your web host regarding this.
Hope it helps.

admin1antParticipantThankyou for your response. I have contacted the hosting support. They stated that no errors can be found(?), also that this adjustment was made ‘I set allow_url_fopen = on state.’ by them.
I will keep going over this. I have opened wp admin dashboard in google chrome now and it has solved the issue of the cornerstone icon not showing up. Perhaps this will help.
