Hello dear X staff, every time I add a new email list to my Mailchimp, and then update the mailchimp extension in X, it gets confused and all my lists get shuffled in X, so that it’s chaos and some lists do no longer match their optin forms. That means people subscribe to freebees and are receiving the wrong emails.

Also: whenever i add a new list to my mailchimp account, and then in the mailchimp extension in X, I refresh the Mailchimp lists list, some of my mailchimp subscriber-lists are no longer visible. Actually, like my main and most important list is no longer visible. I realize there’s a max number of lists that I can see in the mailchimp extension in X, but unfortunately I cannot choose which lists that are! This is super frustrating to me.

I’d really appreciate it if you could find a solution like to expand the amount of lists in the mailchimp extension to unlimited or 100 or whatever is possible.

    Kindly,
    Chris

    Hi, Chris,

Your credentials for mailchimp are ok, but for your site are not working.

Do you mind check that and, if needed, send new credentials?

If you send any credentials, don’t forget to select Set as private reply.

    Thanks.

    Hi, Chris,

Thanks for checking, now I got access to your website. The Mailchimp user doesn’t allow me to see lists, so I can’t check why you can’t see all lists on the plugin.

I did a simple test using your Mailchimp API key on a dev site and I got the same lists you have on yours, but I have no ways to check if there’s any missing.

Could you check the user access on Mailchimp so I can see the lists and understand the issue?

    Thanks,
    Rafael

    Hi, Chris,

After you gave access to the Lists I found the issue: x-mailchimp-forms is listing only 25 of your lists (you have 34 at the moment).

We’re working to fix this limitation and I’ll let you know as soon as we release the fix.

    Thanks!

Hi Rafael, I had not kept track of this thread..
Oh dear.. you added a new list!

Ooooh shit… what happens is that all my lists get shuffled and people are added to the wrong mailing-lists! Omg.. I haven’t seen this thread for a month.. Aaah disaster… Ok, it turned out it’s only 2-3 lists shuffled this time.

How are things with fixing the limitation of 24 email lists?
And if you need to have a limit, then please let me select which lists and do not let it all shuffle everytime I create a new list. πŸ™‚

    Hi there,

Please provide your FTP login credentials as well, I’ll see if I can override the limit. It might be due to API pagination.

    Thanks!

    It’s not the API.

    Please,
read the full thread BEFORE you proceed before you make the same mistake as your colleague!

Your colleague accidentally messed up my mailinglists and optins. People got added to the wrong mailinglist because your colleague created a new test list. This mess was exactly why I asked you guys for help in the first place. I cannot have my optins again turning into a mess: so PLEASE read the whole thread.

    THE PROBLEM
The problem is that I have about 30+ mailinglists in Mailchimp and Theme X allows only about 25. So whenever I create a new list, then theme x chooses which ones it allows out of those 34 and shuffles all lists, with the result that theme x connects different lists with different optin forms. Result: people optin for a thing but get added to the wrong mailing list.

SO PLEASE: DO NOT CREATE A TEST LIST!

And all the logins were already delivered along this thread.
