I’m having another issues where the Headline is not being completely responsive, as some of the text is being cut off. I attached an image where the headline is supposed to say Wood Trade International Services but only says “Internation” and the “al” is being cut off.

Within Cornerstone it shows that it’s not going to be cut off (when looking at the different screens, however when I visit the page on my Samsung S7 (very popular device), I get the attached image.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Yes, I can confirm that. And it’s because spaces around the text are fixed values. And fixed values doesn’t respond, please change the padding and margin value to percentage instead of pixel.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Thanks for the advice. Can you tell me how I change the settings to percentages? It seems like it’s set to “px” by default.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello There,

There are times that even if you set a percentage paddings it will still not because especially if the word is too long. I would suggest that you apply the responsive text in your custom headline and manage it in Settings > Responsive Text. To know more about responsive text, please check it from our knowledge base here: https://community.theme.co/kb/shortcode-walkthrough-responsive-text/
    http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/responsive-text/

Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks. I’ll give this a shot.

That said, I don’t see ‘responsive text” under settings. Do I need to download a specific plugin?

    Hi There,

You can use “Responsive Text” in Cornerstone – http://prntscr.com/ca5caq

    Let’s add a selector there with minimum and maximum font-size – http://prntscr.com/ca5cgm

Then use the selector in Class field for your Custom Headlines – http://prntscr.com/ca5cq2

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers!
