Hi,
I have the same problem and none of the above solutions seem to work. I’m using Lato now and it looks squished. Increasing the pixels between letters does not work. Sometimes, when I change the Heading font to something else, it remains Lato. I also notice that sometimes when the font is changed, the font weight will be deselected so the changes will only take effect after selecting the font weight. Can you help with unsquishing the text?

Thanks.

Thanks for writing in.
Yes, you should choose font weight (if available) when you selected a font. Google font does not automatically select font weights since they are just embedded files.
Though, I really love to check what causes those issues at your end. Could you try starting a new thread linking back to here?

April 19, 2015 at 3:18 am #253186Hi there,
Please provide us with URL of that specific page.
In regards with revolution slider you can use responsive text shortcode in your text layers.Hope that helps.

To change the font of your custom headlines
You can add an inline css to your headline style=”font-family:Arial;”
eg.
[custom_headline type="center" level="h6" looks_like="h5" accent="false" style="font-family:Arial;"]Presents:[/custom_headline]

Change Arial with the font that you like.
Hope that helps.
August 5, 2015 at 2:17 pm #351123Following up, just used this thread.
As stated above, if you are changing fonts around from the customizer, go to Regular style (as all of the choices support that at minimum, whereas, it may not have a bold, book, etc.)

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
