    Second problem I have,

On my Blog page it loads the x theme design before loading my custom CSS that I’ve done in the child theme. any help?

    Example: http://irisglobalzim.wpengine.com/2017/03/getting-a-make-over/
(you’ll see the header image starts small, then loads the full width. I want it to load ful width from the start)

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in.

Then you’ll have to add your CSS in customizer’s custom CSS.

The style.css is just the same as other images, the browser needs to download them before it renders them.

    Thanks!

I’ve added the code into the Customizers CSS with no change.
Any other thoughts? Is there an “easy” way to change the child content.php or _content-post-header.php to do what i’m trying to? (i.e. place the featured image as a full width, 400px high image with the post title being vertically centered, in white, Raleway, 48px, 900 weight)

    Hi there,

Custom CSS seems loading faster on your site since I can’t see any transition of styles. You can use Child Theme to modify the content or layout. Changing featured image size could be done with some CSS.

    Thanks!

    Happy to hear that.

Feel free to ask us again.

    Thanks.
