I am following the directions on installation, but I am continually recieving Error 500 redirects and have to go into the ftp of the server and delete Slider Revolution, and last time I tried, Cornerstone gave me an error 500. I am on a time crunch to get this set up… I’m concerned that this was a mistake to purchase… 🙁 Hoping I can get some quick help

Thanks for writing in!

This usually means there is a fatal PHP error. Can you please enable WP_DEBUG mode? You can do this by opening wp-config.php and adding
define( 'WP_DEBUG' , true ); just above /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ For example:

define('WP_DEBUG', true);

/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

When you revisit the page with the error, you should have some error output describing the issue in more detail.

I have tried this… but now I am getting strange scripting at the top of the page on the dashboard… please see attached screenshot

Hi,

Can you please remove advance-cache.php file from /wp-content/ folder to see if it resolves the issue?

Also, Visual Composer comes as a bundle with the theme so you don’t need to purchase it.

I have been attempting to fix things yet again, and now it has gotten worse… I can’t even get to the dashboard anymore… all i get is a white page with this text on it:

Hi there,

It’s trying to load this advanced-cache.php, but it’s not there. There could be a caching plugin or feature that is dependent on it.

Please delete any caching plugin that you have through FTP since it’s not accessible through admin. I can do that, but please back up your site first.
