Hello
I need to have my site verified for webmaster tools. I recently had a reply from you telling me to put Google conversion code into the PHP functions file. That is fine now, but I cant see how to get the tracking code in because of cornerstone formatting. I get the following message
Verification failed for http://www.stirlingaustin.com/ using the Google Analytics method (less than a minute ago). The Google Analytics tracking code on your site is in the wrong location. You can verify site ownership with the asynchronous snippet placed in the <head> section of your home page.
Pleqse advise
February 28, 2017 at 11:11 am #1389024Hi there,
Thanks for writing in! You can use our Google Analytics extension – https://community.theme.co/kb/extension-google-analytics/
Just install and place the code within the option.
Cheers!

I have encountered a problem. When I try to open the addons page it does not load, it just keeps on trying does not even time out. The only think I can think of is that the padlock instead of green is now yellow and it says that the connection is not secure(it is green when I am logged out, the https works fine on front end.)
So I am unable to install the plugin. Can this be something to do with security? Please see screen shots

February 28, 2017 at 4:26 pm #1389313thanks, I’ve installed the analytics plugin, that seems to be fine.
However it wasnt just the analytics-its the site verification/ownership in Google Search console that I need to do. Is there a particular plugin or method you recommend?
