Thanks Joao. Did I not set it up correctly? When I placed the API code in the markers it worked when viewing the site but it didn’t show in Cornerstone, so I am a bit confused.
September 13, 2016 at 2:47 pm #1173698Thanks Joao! I made a new API key. It works when I view the site but it doesn’t show in Cornerstone, why is that?
September 13, 2016 at 11:45 pm #1174309Hi David,
Please try updating X theme and plugins specially Cornerstone. There are changes in Google MAP API that result in this issues. We have provided a bugfix update. Do let us know how this goes.

Would you mind providing your login credentials in private reply? I do see multiple instances of Google Map API Declaration, the other one is version 3. Cornerstone map uses the standard version. Though, I can’t tell which feature uses the version 3, I like to check it.
Thanks!

Please update and Cornerstone to the latest versions and you will have a specific field on Google Maps Element on Cornerstone where you can place your APi key and your map will work.
Hope that helps

November 13, 2016 at 3:13 pm #1255476I have updated to the latest version and Google maps stills gives the same error, see attachment.
November 13, 2016 at 10:46 pm #1255851Hi there,
I checked it and I don’t see google map API key being added. Please make sure it’s added.
And there were some bugs in google map due to their new standard and implementation, you may try the usual google map embed while we’re on it.
Thanks!
November 14, 2016 at 1:56 pm #1256881Where did you check? The Google map API is indeed added.
Try this URL:

I checked and it looks different from the front than in cornerstone preview. There is a gallery and multiple maps in front, while just single map element in cornerstone preview.
Should it display a single map, or with galleries and maps? To make sure, I created another page http://oregonlifefilms.com/rvv2/test-map/ so I won’t overwrite your existing gallery. Then another error appears, it says
Google Maps API error: ApiNotActivatedMapError
So I tried my own API key and it works ( http://oregonlifefilms.com/rvv2/test-map/ ). Please activate your API Key on your API settings, or create a new one like I did. My old API Keys are inactive too.
Thanks!
