Hi, please can someone help? I’ve been trying to fix this issue for ages. Google maps isn’t showing up on my contact page. I’ve tried adding the Google API into the map element in Cornerstone, and also into the functions.php file of my child theme, but nothing is working!

September 7, 2016 at 9:29 am #1164530It seems that many of us are having the same problem. I would like an answer to how to fix this map api issue.
September 7, 2016 at 9:34 am #1164541FYI to anyone dealing with this issue — using the “Map Embed” Cornerstone block essentially works the same as the “Google Maps” block. Doesn’t have the option to add a marker, but you can add a marker directly on Google Maps and the marker will be added to the embed code / show up on your site.
September 7, 2016 at 9:54 am #1164583Hey guys,
We have already submitted this issue to our developers and there will be an update release soon to address this.
Thanks for understanding!
September 7, 2016 at 11:13 am #1164699Hey guys,
is this maps issue solved yet? I am having problems with google maps on client’s page (vinalisjak.si) since this morning (7.9.2016) also.
I have generated API key for Google Maps with HTTP referrer (website) restriction successfully and added it to an input window in Cornerstone but I still get the blank window with no error message.
WP version: 4.6.1.
X-Theme version: 4.6.2.
Cornerstone version: 1.3.1.Thanks

September 8, 2016 at 2:55 am #1165994Hi again,
after updating Cornerstone to ver. 1.3.2. this morning Google Maps now display correctly in Cornerstone.
When visiting the page on live domain vinalisjak.si Google Maps start to load but then goes blank with a message:“Ooops something went wrong”
“This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.”Tried Chrome and Firefox with cache cleared.
Thanks

Unfortunately, I can’t duplicate the issue you were having. Map are loading fine when I check on both Chrome and Firefox. See attached screenshot.
