Hi there!
I migrate yesterday a website from my production server to its final destination.
Yesterday I had an issue with Google Maps API. I changed the API http reference in the Google console and the problem seemed to be resolved but today I got blank spaces instead of my maps. I see no errors in the console.
The site is live now, could you please help?Best regards,
SamySeptember 7, 2016 at 5:24 am #1164245I am having a similar issue. The map was working fine on the test website yesterday and the finished build. Today both have stopped working (blank space). The google API was added in cornerstone but still not working?
September 7, 2016 at 7:21 am #1164345Hi again,
Actually on Themeco website, on the > SHORTCODES > MAP : Google Maps generated with shortcodes [google_map] don’t work neither! The ones made with [map] work.
Please check http://demo.theme.co/icon-1/shortcodes/map/
Is it a problem linked with Google? Or a shortcode bug?
Please note I just upgraded X to version 4.6.2 and that I filled the field with my API key.September 7, 2016 at 7:44 am #1164367Hello:
I have the same trouble. Yesterday work for me in many sites, but today nobody work. http://conversacionesenpaz.co and http://andresarcos.com/dietplusfr/bruges/ and 16 pages more.I try other plugin and works fine.
Kind regards
September 7, 2016 at 8:02 am #1164391Hi Guys,
Google changed the way the maps works, you need to have X and Cornerstone updated to the latest versions and add an API Key to Google Maps Cornerstone Element.
Please watch this 2 minutes video to make sure you have setup your API correctly.
Thanks,
Joao
September 7, 2016 at 8:05 am #1164397Hi Joao,
I did this already, I also put my key ion the Cornerstone Google Maps field.
It just suddenly stopped to work, even on Themeco example pages!
Please check http://demo.theme.co/icon-1/shortcodes/map/ and have look below where the examples generated by [google_map] shortcake are.September 7, 2016 at 8:09 am #1164400Hi Joao, I updated but problem continue. The issue is the [google_map] shortcode If you check http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/map/ and check [google_map], it doesn work.
Kind regards

My concern is the website is online now :/

I just tried Google Maps Easy, it provides on free version some map & markers customization.
They generate shortcodes you can easily use on your project.
I hope X will fix it soon!Cheers
September 7, 2016 at 11:02 am #1164684Hi There,
